New Commission — Auld Lang Syne

The Reading Choral Society launches 2026 with a festival and new composition.  They commissioned an arrangement of beloved Scottish folk song Auld Lang Syne for chorus and piano.  Conductor Graham Bier has invited Berks County artists Opus One, Vox Philia, Blue Mountain Heritage Chorus, and Berks Youth Chorus.  Their joint concert will conclude with this piece.  The event has a Scottish theme, and poet Robert Burns prepared the familiar text of this venerable folk song.  (Rescheduled from January 25 due to a snowstorm.)
