Organ Concert — Jonathan Dimmock, Crucifer

Acclaimed San Francisco concert organist Jonathan Dimmock offers a recital at St. John Episcopal Church, Lynchburg, VA.  His program “Chorales and Dances” will open with Chris Hoh’s stirring setting of the hymn tune Crucifer, well-known as “Lift High the Cross.”  This piece figures in Dimmock’s recording of an album of Hoh pieces a few days later.
